Ghanaian artiste, Sarkodie is celebrating the continent of Africa and black skin on the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher.
The winner of the ‘Best International Flow’ award – a new category by organizers of the awards event preached the need for togetherness, celebrating the black skin tone, amongst other issues.
“What the hell is way sexy than African booty with stretch-marks on it?” rapped Sarkodie. Yo, what the hell way sexy than African booty with Stretch marks on it? Not only the blacks wants it You don’t even want to touch, just relax on it.”

The rapper dedicated the award to his daughter, Adalyn Owusu Addo (Titi), and encouraged the audience to visit Ghana as part of the Year of Return initiative.
“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God. To family, this one is for my lil girl Titi…. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home.”
The awards event was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, and was hosted by American comedian, actor and entertainer, Lil Duval.
