Ghanaian artiste, Stonebwoy has called for caution and restraint following the backlash after the playing of his song ‘Kpo k3k3‘ in church.

A video message posted online finds the former asking people not to take out their anger on the leader of the church for playing a secular song in a supposedly ‘holy’ place.

“Please let’s leave the churches alone. Let’s not try to use this opportunity to express hate or ignorance towards the church, people or Christians or people who have certain believe and are open minded,” stated the artiste.

“The body of Christ is not actually the temple of Christ sitting down there, the temple of God is the body that you have.”

Days ago, a video of the founder of Believers of Anointed Palace Church and his members dancing to the song ‘Kpoo Keke’ went viral.

It led to mostly severe criticism about debasing the house of God.

The song features Medikal, Kwesi Arthur, Darko Vibes and Kelvyn Boy. It nabbed a 2019 Ghana Music Awards ‘Best Collaboration of the Year’ nomination.
