Live 91.9 FM, Ghana’s biggest youth brand has signed a partnership deal with Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana.
The Ring Road-based station will serve as the official media partner during the upcoming hall week of the all-male hall of residence of the nation’s premier tertiary institution.
The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Ubuntu’ – a quality that includes the essential human virtues of compassion and humanity.
Representatives of the hall say it defines the “very tenets of the VANDAL community” and “defines our core value and progressive agenda towards the entire unification of the human race for our common purpose in all facets of life.”
The 61st Hall Week celebration will be held in April 2019.
Originally known as the Third Hall, it was officially christened Commonwealth Hall to commemorate Ghana’s admission into the Commonwealth of Nations.
It operates a a traditional chieftaincy system with the chief vandal as the traditional head of the hall.
