The third studio album of Ghanaian music duo, R2Bees has finally been released.
Titled ‘Site 15,’ the 15-track album features collaborations with King Promise, WizKid and Burna Boy.
Initially set for release in August 2018, it was pushed back after the group signed a deal with Universal Music Group, the world’s biggest music company.
“They [Universal] made us a very good offer which we think we should take,” explained Ike Otoo Arhin, Manager for the group. ”This is our 10 years anniversary and the album release should be huge. If we release it independently, it would not go as far as we want it. Ghana music has to go further.”
The music company will handle marketing, promotion and distribution of the album new by the duo.
‘We Dey Vibe,’ a single off the album was released last year.
They became the third Ghanaian act to be signed by the world’s biggest music company after Cina Soul and Stonebwoy.
