Comedian FunnyFace’s gift from friend, former Arsenal striker, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor is a blank cheque.
The comedian born Benson Nana YAw Oduro is free to withdraw any amount he wants as part of his birthday gift.
Adebayor shared the news about the gift on Instagram.
“I would like you to go to the nearest Access Bank in Accra, there is a blank check waiting. It’s for you to write any amount on it. Please remember we promised not to finish each other’s money, so be reasonable.” reads part of the message by the Togolese International.
The second gift would be to pick any item of his choice from Hisense Ghana, an electronics company.
“Happy birthday to my good homie and brother @therealfunnyface. We all know how much I care about you.
For your birthday I don’t have much to give you but there are two things I would like to say: I want you to go visit my friends from @hisense_ghana. Pick any item from their store and tell them I sent you. They will be waiting…”
In 2012, Adebayor bought a customized Ranger Rover for the comedian.
The comedian expressed his gratitude for the gift from his friend, and support over the years on Facebook.
“A president was born for Children today .. thank you God for making me go through all I went through just to Renew and shape me to be a better person dis day .. and to my brother @e_adebayor for motivating and advising me thru my hard moments in life .. which nearly took my life , am happy God gave me a friend like you .. who believes in me more dan I even believe in myself .. ur guidance and advice and God’s help .. has brought me this far !!…”
