Andre Ayew has taken the shirt number 20 after completing his loan move to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe on Friday.
The Ghana international passed his medical earlier in the day having arrived in Istanbul Thursday night.
Ayew has signed and been unveiled at Ülker Stadium in a deal that keeps him with the Yellow Canaries for the entire 2018/19 season from English side Swansea City.
As part of the agreement, Fenerbahçe have the option to purchase the 28-year-old on a permanent deal at the end of the loan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ayew said that Fenerbahçe’s interest made him very happy from the first moment.
“I knew beforehand what a great club Fenerbahçe was. For me, this is a very important project.” There are very big expectation from the fans, we know this … and I only want to make this team the champion,” he noted.
Fenerbahçe are reported to be paying the Black Stars deputy skipper 3.2million euros in wages for the entire loan period.
