Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has reacted to reports that his recent song ‘Icon’ freestyle is a response to rapper E,L.

Many assumed a verse stating that the former does not pick the calls of an unnamed person was targeted at the latter.

In March 2018, El.L granted an interview where he stated that Sarkodie is yet to reply his calls for a collaboration.

SARKODIE YET TO REPLY MY ‘COLLABO’ REQUEST – E.L

“Sark, we haven’t spoken in a long time,” stated E.L to Giovani Caleb on Starr Drive on Starr 103.5FM.

“I tried to get him on a colabo but he might be busy because he never got back to me. I haven’t really haloed [sic] at him anymore but maybe if he sees my message he will hit me back.”

Sarkodie dismissed a news report on why he has refused to collaborate with E.L.

“If this is an original handle of the Nobel man Nam 1’s station then y’all don’t take yourselves below the belt for traffic and numbers y’all will gain it organically … This ain’t needed” wrote the ‘Glory’ act.
