The government of Ghana has expressed its shock and outrage at recent videos of corruption at the Ghana Football Association.

A satement signed by Mustapha Hamid, Minister of Information states that the government is taking steps to dissolve the football Association “until a new body is duly formed.”

It adds that the officials shown on the tape will be referred to the Police.

The President of the Association,Kwesi Nyantakyi was filmed taking $65,000 from ‘investors’ to influence the president and vice-president to get road contracts in the expose ‘Number 12’ by Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The Ghana Premier League and all leagues have been suspended.
