Actress Moesha Bobuong last week celebrated her birthday with the students of Hopesetters Autism Center and friends in Tema.
The event saw the actress dancing, serving and playing with the children especially those with Autism as they needed all the help and care.
“I’m happy to be here with these kids, I really appreciate them and I ask God to be their comforter and bless them more,” she said.
She also went on to urge her colleagues to pay attention to the children with autism as well as the others.
“I want to use this opportunity to encourage my colleagues in the industry to remember children with special need. It us make efforts to make their world beautiful with all the love they deserve. I will definitely come here again,” she said.
For Mrs. Baaba Enchil, the owner of the center, it was a delight that people of her kind remember children with autism.
” We are glad to be the chosen ones to celebrate Moesha’s special day. God bless her and we pray that more and more come our way.”
For the challenges they face, she said, “Appropriate accommodation for us to be able to do effective work and achieve results, Support for children who cannot afford the bear minimum that the centre charges.
Currently Hopesetters operates from the Golden Age Youth Training Centre in Tema,” she said.
Hope setters Autism Center can boast of 17 students and 10 teaching staff who are SHS and tertiary Institute graduates and have the passion to work with children, they are being given training on the job and are also given various training at time intervals at other centres and by other professionals.
