Live FM has announced nominees for its ‘Artiste of the Month‘ initiative for November.

M.anifest, Ebony, Captain Planet, Kidi, E.L, and Worlasi will compete for bragging rights and also extensive promotion by the Adabraka-based station.

Live FM Artiste of the Month is another instalment of the hugely popular GH Wednesday Live on air delight a year after its inception by Ghana’s favourite youth brand.

It seeks to celebrate Ghanaian artistes for their trend-setting, creative and innovative abilities, and also give upcoming artistes the needed commercial buzz, and also a breadth of fresh air for the music industry.

Captain Planet – He’s got the hottest song in the country right now trending on social media, the streets and is enjoying a lot of air play. It’s been two weeks at the top spot of Live FM’s top ten most played charts.

Manifest – Successful release of Me Ne Woaa ft King Promise, kicked off his Now Here Cool Tour, with hundreds in attendance in both Legon Campus & Ashesi University

Worlasi – Successful release of Outerlane EP to great reception. Currently number 2 on the apple music charts for Ghana as well as the 2nd highest selling album on aftown music.

Ebony – Great reception to her new song Hustle which is a major trend on social media and the streets.

EL – Sold out his Bar4 Concert at Alliance Francaise and released his album which sold 150 copies in the first 48hours of its release on aftown.

Kidi – leading up to the success its garnered in previous months including the remix with Davido and Mayorkun, now the video for the ODO song hit a million views of Youtube.

The Live FM 0n-Air team includes Jay Foley, Jeremie, Antoine Mensah, Sammy Forson, Berla Mundi, Vanessa Gyan, DJ Lord, Regina Krave, Jason, Sheldon, Micheal Sagoe. DJ Bass, DJ Isaac Cool, DJ Mingle, Bianca Buckman, Emeline Nsingi Nkosi, Terry Mingle, Jeshurun Okyere and Masta Jay.

A successful story that started in May 2015, LIVE FM has grown to become Ghana’s best testament of what youthful exuberance when restricted in creativity can do, and the nation’s most exciting youth brand with a large following.
