The ‘Live Girl Code project‘ train made a stop at the University of Professional Studies, Accra Thursday night.
Led by host, Berla Mundi, and resource person, Caritas ‘Tatas JackieChan’ Aryee, founder of ‘Kenkey for the Needy,’ the subject of Social Media and its effects were discussed.
The students were lectured on how to positively benefit from Social Media (gaining jobs, meeting new people and a lot more) and also how to not to suffer the negative consequences of using Social Media.
‘Live Girl Code Project‘ is an initiative that seeks to empower women through mentoring by accomplished women in various industries on entrepreneurship, career choices and lifestyle.
