Hundreds of students converged at the Jubilee Hall, University of Ghana, Legon, Thursday night for the first edition of women empowerment initiative ‘Live Girl Code Project.’
The initiative seeks to empower participants through mentoring by accomplished women in various industries on entrepreneurship, career choices and lifestyle.
Resource persons for the event were Gloria Buckman Yankson, Event Planner and Creative Director, PlanIt Ghana and Simi Esiri, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of SCHICK Magazine. They answered questions about starting a business, steps to ensure that it is successful and a lot more.
The event was hosted by Berla Mundi.
