Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior, known by stage name Shatta Wale has paid a visit to the bereaved family of Major Maxwell Adam Mahama, who was gruesomely murdered at Denkyira-Boase in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region.

Shatta Wale recorded a tribute song in his honour and advocated for a justice to be served.

The award winning musician in a post on Facebook, said “Where our strength runs out, God’s strength begins. Let’s continue praying for this family”

He was received my Michael Mahama younger brother of the deceased, Veronica Bamford his mother and other family members.

Capt. Mahama who served with the 5 Infantry Battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces, Burma Camp, Accra but was on detachment duties at Denkyira Obuasi in the Central region, was lynched by a mob on suspicion he was an armed robber on May 29th.

This was after some women whom he bought snails from while on a walk,  saw a pistol tucked beneath his shirt and informed the assemblyman for the area who also organized the youth to attack and lynch him.
