‘Happiness Is A Four-Letter Word’, a South African movie starring Chris Attoh is breaking records.
30 days after the movie’s official release, it has made some 10 Million Rand (US $652, 441) at the South African Box Office.
It was screened at the Berlin International Film Festival last month.
The movie is based on the award-winning novel by Cynthia Jele, it is a romantic drama that explores the lives of three best friends – Nandi, Zaza and Princess – living the good life in fast paced Johannesburg.
Khanyi Mbau, Mmabatho Montsho, Renate Stuurman, Tongayi Chirisa, Hlomla Dandala and Terence Bridgett also play lead roles in the movie. It was directed by Thabang Moleya.
