Kumasi-based actor Bill Asamoah often plays the role of a  playboy, a character most think reflects his person.

But in an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on UTV, he denied the claim saying:

“I have not a womanizer, people need to get this, I act and the roles they see me play is someone’s script and it’s being directed by another, I have to give it my best because that is what I am being paid for.

“More importantly, I am a family man and there is no way I would just go about doing all kinds of things that will tarnish my image and that of my family. I am not who they see on television,” he said.

Bill Asamoah started his acting career in 2002.

He won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Kumawood Awards in 2011 and in the following year won the same award.

He’s acted in both English and Twi movies, and known for movies like Azonto Ghost, Gh Shaolin, Fakye, Sika, Choice, Poposipopo and I know My Right.
