“I will be performing and representing Ghana at Glastonbury festival. I’m the only African artist headlining a big stage there.” he told Live FM’s Jay Foley in an exclusive interview. He will be performing for 45 minutes.
He skipped the Black Entertainment Television(BET) Awards 2015 where he is a nominee to play at the festival. Wanlov and Mensa will also perform at the festival.
Glastonbury Festival is a five-day music festival that takes place in London. This year’s event started on June 24 and will end on June 28. The festival hosts dance. comedy ,circus and other arts. The first edition was held in 1970.
Other performers at this year’s edition include Kanye West, Mary J. Blige , Pharrel , Lionel Richie , Azealia Banks, Steel Pulse and Ghanaian Akua Naru.
