It’s her birthday on Sunday June 21st, 2015, and she has a special surprise for listeners of Live 91.9FM.
Starting this Sunday, Jeremie introduces something new on urban radio; it’s called Soulfood with Jeremie.
She tells livefmghana.com, what inspired her new show,” I think we lack that on radio, there is not too much of that on radio. There is a lot of entertainment, there is a lot of fun stuff but there is not too much of inspiration and everybody is going through something so yeah soul food, food for the soul.”
Why the name Soul food? “Soul food because its food for the soul. I’m hoping to feed people’s souls. It’s inspirational so I’m going to be inspiring people, basically feeding the soul. It’s going to be inspiration and God. It’s going to be a mixture of God and inspiration.”
On what listeners should look forward to, Jeremie had this to say: “It’s basically turning point stories; people who used to and now have changed. You will be hearing a lot of those types of interviews mixed with some really interesting hip-hop and R&B gospel and inspirational stuff as well.”
The first guest on the show is a young man who was addicted to masturbation but was able to come off it. Soulfood with Jeremie is on Live 91.9 FM every Sunday between 6 and 7pm.
